Whilst it is easy to see that Eugene’s has an artistic eye, it is his love of travelling, watching and tracking wildlife for hours on end and capturing those unseen moments, that has inspired him to share his astounding portfolio online.

Eugene’s meticulous and outstanding work ranges from aviation, landscapes, nature/wildlife, sport and historic Irish cottages.

Born in the Mau highlands of Narok County, Kenya. Dorcas, a Maasai girl, grew up in the middle of a male-dominated world where women were viewed as being equal to children (Nkera) and therefore nothing big or relevant was expected to come from them except to bear children, bring them up and perform several duties at the homestead which included looking after animals and making their beaded ornaments. This mindset challenged her and it stirred up the urge to break the glass ceiling and prove to the world that women could equally do what men do, if not do it even better. 

 Being among the few girls who were lucky to join school, Dorcas put all her efforts in her education and always emerged top in her class from Nursery school all through to her secondary school level. The struggles to raise schools fees and other school requirements hit her parents when she joined secondary school but luckily she was able to get a well wisher who supported her for the 4 years. Her dreams to join the university were however shuttered even after passing her exams as her parents could not afford to take her to the university.

In 2021, Dorcas decided to take up the course and venture into the male dominated Tourism industry and registered Enchipai Tours and Travel. Being a lady from the indigenous and marginalized Maasai community, she faced alot of challenges in trying to create networks and grow her young company. However the ups and downs did not kill her childhood dreams of becoming a successful woman and she has worked hard to beat all odds and she has made great milestones in growing Enchipai Tours and Travel to realize her dream and see a Maasai girl's tour company conquer the world.
